Ever since I graduated from macro to micro beer (specifically Great Divide Brewing in Denver, CO), I’ve been blown away by the craft beer community and the passion that goes into the beer making process. Beer brings people together and so do online platforms. That’s why I focus my passion for all things digital media – from website design to photography to social media management – in the craft beer industry. It combines two of my passions and I want to be passionate about my work.
I’ve always been an early adopter of technology and social platforms but when I created Hops About Beer 3 years ago is when I saw first-hand the power of an online community. I started Hops About Beer because I wanted to create a community around beer I loved and engage with other like-minded people. I loved seeing how the community grew to over 10k followers and I now have relationships with some of the leading influencers worldwide in the craft beer industry. Not only does this allow me to continue these relationships, it also allows us to share what is currently going on in the craft beer scene and stay up-to-date on the current trends. This is why I have chosen to do what I do, to not only help breweries grow their engagement but any other businesses in the food and beverage industry.
What makes Hops About Beer different from other marketing agencies or public relation firms is that I’m uniquely positioned to do this type of work. Even though I am someone who is very analytical and has a gift for technology, I also love to build relationships with clients and their customers. I truly enjoy engaging with people, collaborating and creating together. After working together, my goal is for clients to say that it wasn’t only a successful campaign, but I was easy and fun to work with.
Between my wife being an Executive Pastry Chef at a local Patisserie and me working with local businesses, we have built many relationships in the Sacramento area and love watching the city grow. We have a young son and are excited to continue to grow our family. I not only want to provide for my family but love the work that I do – and that’s why I’ve taken Hops About Beer from a fun project to a business.
I look forward to connecting with you and seeing what Hops About Beer can do to assist with any digital media needs that you might have. Cheers!
